A sales rep app for SAP Business One, where the customer is standing.

A rep on a route has the account, the pricing and the stock figure in hand, takes the order in front of the customer, and it becomes a SAP Business One® sales document. No paper, no evening data entry, no call to the office to check a price.

Coverage is not something a rep can plan around

So the app does not require it. Here is a normal day, with the connection shown underneath.

What the rep is carrying

All of it comes from SAP Business One and syncs back to it. None of it is a separate list somebody maintains.

  • The account

Terms, balance, credit position, ship-to addresses and what this customer bought last time, as SAP Business One holds it.

  • Their pricing

Price list, volume breaks and special prices for this account. The rep quotes the number that will appear on the invoice.

  • Live stock

Availability by warehouse, so nothing is promised that shipped this morning.

  • Scan or search

Add lines by scanning a barcode off the shelf or searching the catalog. Faster than reading a code aloud.

  • Quotes and orders

A quote where the customer needs to think about it, an order where they do not. Both become SAP Business One documents.

  • Routes and visits

The day's stops in sequence, with visit outcomes recorded against the account rather than in a notebook.

What changes

The evening shift that disappears

Before

  1. 01Rep writes the order on a pad, or texts it in.
  2. 02Calls the office to check a price or whether something is in stock.
  3. 03Orders arrive at the office in the evening, or the next morning.
  4. 04Somebody types them in, guessing at anything unclear.
  5. 05Errors surface when the customer receives the wrong thing.

After

  1. 01Rep opens the customer and sees terms, balance and last order.
  2. 02Prices and stock are already there, resolved for this account.
  3. 03The order is built and confirmed with the customer present.
  4. 04It posts to SAP Business One on submit, or queues and sends when there is signal.
  5. 05The office sees the order without touching it.

Put it in a rep's hand for a day.

The honest test is one route with one rep. Bring your worst signal area and your most awkward pricing.
