SAP Business One · Upgrades
SAP Business One upgrades and migrations
Version upgrades, a move from Microsoft SQL Server to SAP HANA, or from servers in the back office to a managed environment. Each one is rehearsed on a copy of your company first, so the real cutover is the second time, not the first.
What we move
Three kinds of upgrade
Version upgrades
Moving to a current SAP Business One release, including the intermediate steps an older version needs.
SQL Server to SAP HANA
Migrating the database platform, reworking queries and reports that use SQL Server syntax, and checking every add-on is supported on HANA.
On-premise to hosted
Moving the system from your own server to a managed environment that we administer, back up and monitor.

How it runs
Rehearsed before it is real
- 01
Assessment
Current version, database, add-ons, integrations, customizations and the target release, with what needs to change.
- 02
Compatibility
Each add-on and integration checked against the target version; replacements or updates planned where needed.
- 03
Test upgrade
A copy of your company upgraded first. Queries, layouts, reports and integrations fixed on the copy.
- 04
User testing
Your team runs their daily work on the test system and signs off.
- 05
Cutover
A planned window, a verified backup, the upgrade, a check of key documents, and a rollback plan if anything is wrong.
- 06
After go-live
Close support for the first days, while people work on the new version.
